Yesterday I was able to reconnect with a friend from high who is here with his family. We went around Beijing using the subway. I got to try some great food from a muslim chinese restaurant.
It was a blast to see Beijing from a local perspective. We went to the temple to heaven. We watched the older chinese people do their exercises. The weather was beautiful but very windy. It was a great time. I was also able to go to their home. What a treat.
