A really long day but a great night's sleep

Yesterday was adoption day. Abraham is officially a Lakey. The adoption process is finalized in several building around Beijing. There was a lot of waiting for a little boy who did not know what was going on. He was fridgety and anxious most of the six hours it took to process all the papers. When we returned to the hotel room he was able to sigh and then cry about the emotions of the day. He was again very sad.

I told Tami that I think food is his love language, boy does does he like to eat. He doesn't seem to be eating too much that is causing him stomach issues but he enjoys every bite.

He also said momma for the first time last night. Which was very cool to see. I also was able to hold him today for the first time. He is really "grabby". Everything that is on the table he thinks is his so that makes signing papers extremely difficult so Abe got to hang out with Miss Gail. He is so sweet even on this rough day.

Today we are going to the forbidden city. So pray that this little man will be comfortable out and about and can rest secure in his momma's arms. Also pray for those momma's arms, they've got to be killing Tami.

That is so awesome to hear. Sounds like he's really attaching to mommy. God is good.
